About This Project

Since 2015, NorthPointe Hospitality Management has had the honor of managing the Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island. After a glorious run, in January 2022, the Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll sold for $41 million, earning a profitable return for our investors.

Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll’s project included an extensive $15 million renovation project and conversion to a Holiday Inn Resort. NorthPointe increased profit margins (GOP) by $550,000 in the five months preceding the renovation. The hotel then closed as planned for a $15 million renovation, with NorthPointe negotiating the franchise agreement and managing the renovation project. After 18 months, the 65-year-old building was restored into a modern hotel with upgraded features and design, reopening as a Holiday Inn Resort. NorthPointe transformed the Holiday Inn Resort into one of Jekyll Island’s top-performing hotels.
